Enthusiasm and energy characterize Alyssa’s approach to kids. Her passion for pediatrics infuses her work every day as she strives to ensure that every child in her care reaches his/her fullest potential. Alyssa loves working closely with other team members and family to maximize the impact of her treatment and believes that a partnership between therapists and parents is a key to fostering independence and success. Her home toolbox and strategies make her a popular contributor to the POTS blog.

 

A 2019 graduate of the University of Scranton, Alyssa has provided occupational therapy to children from infancy to young adulthood with a wide variety of diagnoses and challenges including sensory processing, neurological, orthopedic, psychological, and developmental disorders. Alyssa has worked in outpatient pediatric clinics, public school, and early intervention.

 

Outside of work Alyssa enjoys traveling, exercise, being outdoors, dance, watching her never ending TV series, and spending time with family and friends.
