Katie believes that children thrive in an upbeat, playful environment and is passionate about infusing fun, play and creativity into every session. She has been bringing her special kind of magic to her work with children ages 2-21 over the past thirteen years in a variety of settings including public schools, early intervention, and pediatric private practices. At POTS, Katie works with children individually and in groups and is a key player in POTS community outreach posting numerous therapeutic activities on social media to provide parents with tools to work on therapeutic goals at home.

A 2018 graduate of Eastwick College with an Associate’s degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, Katie previously earned her B.A. in Psychology at Rutgers University. Always expanding her skills, Kathryn has earned advanced certifications in MNRI Reflex Integration, DIR/Floortime, Therapeutic Listening, and Tools for Learning: Building Academic and Social Competencies.

In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys listening to suspenseful “true crime” podcasts and spending as much time as possible with friends and family. She loves to cook, and her husband says she makes the best Asian cuisine, orange chicken, ahi tuna and stir fry!
