Bringing a wealth of knowledge, warmth and loving care to her clients and our POTS family, Roberta is our lead  Physical Therapist. She is a seasoned expert in pediatric Physical Therapy who is licensed and practices in both New Jersey and New York State. Roberta graduated with a Physical Therapy Certificate and Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston University’s Sargent College of Allied Health Professions and performed her residency internships at Rusk NYU Medical Center, Montefiore Medical Center and Englewood Hospital.   

 

Roberta has over 30 years of experience specializing in pediatrics from newborns to young adults. She has practiced in a variety of settings including: hospitals, Early Intervention, day training facilities, public and private schools (PreK through high school), private practice, homebound, therapeutic summer camps and swimming programs. Her extensive therapeutic background and continuing education experiences include: NICU Intervention, Torticollis, Early Intervention,  PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), NDT (Neurodevelopmental Technique), Dynamic Intervention, Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Interval Exercise, Metronome, Oral Motor, TMJ, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Equine, Pool, Self Regulation Techniques, Gentle Teaching, and DIR Floortime. She provides individual and group therapy sessions in the clinic and public school facilities and also provides in-service training to parents, schools teachers, and staff integrating their children’s physical therapy programs into their home and school environments.

Roberta also has a love for volunteering in the community, writing music, engaging in outdoor sports including sailing, snowboarding, rock climbing, and hiking, and hanging out with her husband and daughter.
