Hand Preference

Colloquially called hand "dominance" or "handedness," it's the preferential use of one hand for refined tasks, and reflects mature lateralization of the brain. Lack of hand preference or confusion about hand preference limits the development of fine motor skills. It is often associated with difficulty crossing the midline of the body and bilateral incoordination.
