Hyperreactivity
An overresponsiveness to sensory input, often characterized by withdrawal, avoidance, or distractability. Children with hyper-reactivity are very aware of all sensory input around them and have difficulty filtering out irrelevant input, which limits their ability to focus and attend to the relevant information in the environment
