Jackie launched her career as a travel Occupational Therapist in 2014, adventuring across the country before discovering her dream role and location in Alaska! To stay closer to family, she returned to New Jersey and crafted a unique "snowbird" lifestyle—spending ten months in NJ and two blissful months in Alaska each year. With over ten years of pediatric occupational therapy experience in outpatient, school-based settings, and in the pool nationwide, Jackie has developed deep expertise working with children facing sensory processing challenges, behavioral difficulties, and communication impairments.
Jackie's approach is both comprehensive and holistic, emphasizing collaboration across all environments. She partners closely with caregivers, school staff, fellow therapy disciplines, and medical teams to ensure seamless support for every child. Her diverse background includes experience with hippotherapy and aquatic therapy, adding unique dimensions to her therapeutic toolkit.
Energetic and enthusiastic by nature, Jackie brings genuine compassion, keen intuition, and an authentic love for children and occupational therapy to every session. She's passionate about empowering children to tackle challenging tasks in supportive, encouraging ways—building their confidence, independence, and essential life skills. Jackie is committed to exploring every available strategy, resource, and tool to maximize each child's potential for growth, development, and long-term success. Her extensive network from working across the country provides families access to innovative strategies, collaborative care, and exceptional occupational therapy services.
Jackie's specialized training includes the Integrated Listening Systems, Therapeutic Listening, Learning Without Tears, Astronaut Training Protocol, Wilbarger Brushing Protocol, and Reflex Integration, among other evidence-based approaches.
Beyond the clinic, Jackie's enthusiasm never wanes—whether she's cherishing time with her beloved nieces and nephews, diving into creative craft projects, or running her own artisanal sugar cookie business. Her creativity and warmth illuminate everything she does, both professionally and personally.
