Children must be toilet trained,  verbal and be able to follow simple directions and maintain safety in a group setting.  If your child has not received services at POTS, or there is a question about developmental appropriateness, call the office to schedule a time to come in so we can meet your child.

Please be sure to send in a water bottle and lunch for any group longer than two hours. We kindly request that all snacks are peanut and tree nut free.

2, 4 and 6-week summer sessions for children ages 3-4

Are you concerned about your 3-4 year old’s transition into school next year?

POTS is offering a 6-week summer program for children ages 3-4 who would benefit from a small supportive group setting to build social skills and fine motor and gross motor development in a supportive environment. This program will be led by occupational therapists, and provide an opportunity for children to learn and play in a small-group setting (4-6 children) before they transition into preschool.  Each week will introduce a new theme to create a fun and engaging environment in which to address core strength,  fine motor skills, gross motor skills, expanding food choices and social skills.

Social thinking will be incorporated into our curriculum to help young learners with average to way about average language and learning ability to develop the skills they need to be flexible social thinkers and social problem solvers.
