Social Skills Club

The goal of our POTS social skills group is to establish and enhance socially important behaviors, including how to interact appropriately with peers to play, converse, problem-solve and develop friendships.  Your child will receive an abundance of positive reinforcement as they learn to develop the ability to recognize and effectively control their emotions and understand other people’s perspective.

In our social skills group children will learn how to:

  • Greet others

  • Initiate and sustain play with friends

  • Start a conversation

  • Respond to others

  • Share and take turns

  • Ask for help

  • Read emotions

  • Read social cues

  • Build Self-Confidence
